Paul Moore, Service Projects chair and a director of the Roswell Rotary Club, will speak at the May 19 meeting.
Paul is the southeast regional manager for the Alzheimer’s Association’s New Mexico Chapter, where he is responsible for education, awareness, caregiver support, and fundraising.
He became involved with the association because of his own family’s firsthand experience with the disease. He moved to New Mexico in support of his wife, a geneticist at the Southwestern Native Aquatic Resources Recovery Center.
Paul formerly served as executive director of the North Central Washington Economic Development District and as an elected official on his local City Council.
He is an avid volunteer and has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Housing Authority, Planning and Zoning Commission, School Board, and various strategic planning initiatives.
He has a Master’s in Education and spent the majority of his professional career as a humanities professor.
